SHORT SYNOPSIS

Three decades after his disappearance, Wes, a former CIA operative connected to the Iran-contras scandal, resurfaces in contemporary Detroit. In his search for atonement, Wes “rescues” undocumented immigrants from coyotes who held them captive, but leaves a dangerous trail behind. When Wes locks the immigrants in the basements of the run-down properties he owns, he claims that it is for their protection. Finding themselves in forced captivity once again, the immigrants must decide whether to aid their “savior” or escape their “captor”.

The value of the film is estimated to be Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00) and the budget is coming from a group of investors in the form of private equity. Ten (10) investment units offered at a price of $200,000 per subscription.

NoPORT Film will spend 10% of each investor subscription payment ($20,000) for administrative expenses, casting, location scouting and other critical developments.

10% of each investor subscription payment ($20,000) as a gross corridor in an escrow account for expenses related to the management of the Company, including, but not limited to costs incurred for accounting, legal fees and taxes.

The rest of the funds 80% ($160,000) will be released immediately to the Managing Member at such time as One Million and Two Hundred Thousand Dollars (1,200,000.00) has been raised -- the Minimum Required Financing (“MRF”). This is the amount necessary to start principal photography production and to assemble dailies of the film. It excludes the balance needed to assemble a rough cut and post-production costs which include final picture editing, sound mix, color correction, music and scoring, final delivery elements, festival fees, and marketing costs.
